This year my cousin Brent Eastty and I took on a tough hike. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for years. There’s no easy way to summit North Dome from the valley floor. We chose the Tenaya zigzags east of Mirror Lake and started at 0600. We were on top by 1200 and pretty tired. The view of Half Dome is spectacular. Carla came in from Tioga Road and we met her at the foot bridge at Tenaya Creek. It was a great day of hiking, nearly a twenty-mile round trip. The three of us were sore and achy for the next three days… But we did it!
I’d love to hear about about your adventures in Yosemite – a truly magnificent national park.
Hi Andy, Congratulations on the mighty hike! Thanks for sharing the amazing pictures! Keep treking and writing! xo, Diane
Hi Diane! I hope all is well in Clovis. I’m working on book four as we speak. Please say hello to Bill for me.
We’re not going to Yosemite this year, but let’s try to get together anyway. Let me know when you’re down in our area camping again! Hugs!
Glad you are working on book 4. I found the first book on my kindle store and purchased all three. Didnt realize that the 3rd book had just been released. I am an avid reader and sometimes read 2 to 4 books a week. I am now disabled due to complications from Cancer and have alot of time on my hands. Reading saved my sanity. I have loved to read since a child. I love Nathan McBrides character and look forward to more of this series. Happy New Year to you and yours.
Melody, my thoughts and prayers are with you and I’m so pleased the Nathan McBride adventures have given you some entertainment. Like you, I read as a child as well. I liked science fiction and mysteries. I think Ray Bradbury was my favorite author. I must’ve read R IS FOR ROCKET a dozen times.
I hope you you have a blessed 2103. Thank you for taking time to write, I truly appreciate hearing from you!
Andrew,
Just read your latest book, “Option to Kill”. I realy enjoyed it (even though it was nthe 3ird in the series. I am looking forward to the rest of the series, and the one you are workin on now. Hope to see you, as we live in Aromas. Thanks Ken
Hi Ken: We’re practically neighbors! Thank you for the nice post. I’m glad you enjoyed OPTION, but I gotta tell you… That final scene was painful to write!
I don’t get down to your area very often, but I’ll drop you note the next time I’m driving through. Thanks again for writing.
Andrew,
Just found your books and I want you to know that I really enjoyed the McBride series. Bought them all at the same time and read them in order in a few days. Couldn’t put them down. I read a lot and enjoy the genre represented by Child, Coben, Flynn, Baldacci, Crais, Berenson, Thor and Sandford very much and I have to put you in that category. Nathan and Harv have the right chemistry and I can’t wait for more. Keep them coming.
You made my day, Thornton! Thank you kindly for the nice post. That’s elite company you’ve put me in, I hope I’m worthy of such high praise. It’s heartwarming to know you enjoyed Nathan’s adventures. I’m working really hard on book four (May 2014) and then book five in 2015. I wish I could write faster, but I want to produce the best product I can. Cutting corners to crank out books isn’t my goal. I want you to feel engaged in Nathan’s next adventure. I’ll give you a hint, it has a strong tie-in to Nicaragua!
Blessings to you and your family!
