FIRST TO KILL reached an interesting milestone. It received its 1,000th review yesterday. It’s heartwarming to know so many people took a moment of their time to offer feedback on Nathan’s first adventure. To everyone who contributed, please accept my thanks. I’m working hard on book four and hope to have it available in October this year.
THANK YOU FOR WRITING SUCH GREAT BOOKS !!! I FOUND YOU BY ACCIDENT AND PURCHASED ALL THREE BOOKS.
I GAVE THEM TO MY SON-IN-LAW AND HE LOVED THEM. SO WHEN WILL YOUR NEXT BOOK BE OUT. I CANNOT WAIT.
THANKS, LYDIA
Lydia, it’s great hearing from you again, thank you so much for writing. I’m glad your son-in-law enjoyed Nathan’s adventures. And thank you for purchasing all three!
I’m really close to finishing book four. I think October is realistic for the eBook edition. The audiobook takes a little longer to produce.
Thank you again for the awesome posts. Cheers!
I PURCHASED THE FIRST THREE BOOKS AND LOVED THEM !!
I GAVE IT TO MY SON-IN-LAW TO READ AND HE LOVED IT TOO. !! WE CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE – WHEN WILL IT BE OUT. THANKS FOR WRITING SUCH GREAT STORIES.
LYDIA
I also found the books by accident, and loved them. When I stared reading “Option to Kill,” and realized it was a serial, I wanted to scream when I realized I had to wait for the next part. Job well done. I keep checking for the next book, could you hurry please :).
Lynn
Hi Lynn, thank you for the nice post, it’s great hearing from you! if you bought OPTION recently, it’s not a serial anymore. It launched that way last year but it’s a complete eBook now.
I’m working hard on book four – it should be available in May of 2014. I wish I could write faster, but I don’t want to sacrifice quality for speed. I hope you agree…?
Thank you again for taking time to write, I really appreciate it!
I’m very glad that Remy asked me to review your books. As a retired combat Corpsman (FMF) with the Marines I love it. I’ve now read the 1st 3 Nathan McBride books and can’t wait for #4 and #5. Once I started reading one, I couldn’t stop, even into the early morning hours. Captivating! Thank you
Okay – I read your email and was intrigued – my great granddaughter’s name is Remy !!
There could be a mystery in the works…
Dan, please allow me to say thank you for your service to America in the Marine Corps – especially as a combat Corpsman. I’m deeply honored by your post. I wish you could know how much it means to me. My heroes aren’t sports players, musicians, or movie stars, they’re folks like you – the men and women of our armed forces. I’m so pleased you enjoyed reading Nathan’s adventures, I truly am. Please stay in touch with me!
Stay safe and always check six!
Hi Andrew,
It’s mid October and I keep checking to see if book 4 has made its appearance. I live in University City and I feel as if I’m Nathan’s neighbor. All the places and streets you mention are familiar to me. I feel very connected to him. Sometimes it’s hard to separate reality and fiction. I love Nathan McBride! Thank you for keep him alive.
Hi Deanna, thank you for the nice post. It’s great hearing from you. I’m so pleased you enjoy the books.
There’s good news and “not so good” news. The good news is that I’m finishing book number four, READY TO KILL, at the end of this month. The “not so good” news is that the publication has been pushed back to May 2014. It’s not my publisher’s fault, the buck stops with me. I lost a bunch of time – before and after – I had lumbar decompression surgery in August.
I’m so sorry for the delay, I’m working like a sled dog until the end of the month to get it finished. In RTK, you’ll see Nate and Harv in action again! Please hang in there with me!
oooohhhhhhhh ANDREW !!! MY SUN-IN-LAW IS GOING TO PROBABLY SHOOT ME !!! I TOLD HIM YOUR NEXT BOOK WILL BE OUT NEXT MONTH – WE ARE BOTH WAITING !!! I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR ” COMPRESSION ” I HAVE HAD BACK SURGERY AND IT IS NOT FUN. OK – I GUESS WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR !!! DON’T WORRY – WE WILL BE GETTING IT. WOULD NOT MISS IT FOR THE WORLD ~!! TAKE CARE
Hi Laura, I really botched the launch date. Thank you for being patient! I’ve had other orthopedic injuries but my compressed lumbar was the worst of them. “Not fun” is putting it mildly. I could barely walk!
I’ll be sure to send out a newsletter in the next few weeks with an update. Thank you for taking a moment a write, it’s really nice hearing from you!
Now it’s back to work for me, I’m almost finished writing the finale scene of READY TO KILL!
