Last week, Kathy McKenzie, who does freelance writing for the Monterey County Herald, met me at a Starbucks in Salinas. Kathy was professional, yet cordial – a rare trait. I thoroughly enjoyed our interview. I especially like the coverage she gave to my fellow tour authors. As the big date approaches, I’m feeling a growing sense of purpose and direction.
